  • My assignment

My challenge consisted in redesigning the Lemwarm dashboard.

Lemwarm is a Saas platform designed to boost email deliverability and help your commercial emails land in the primary inbox instead rather than the spam folder spam. This platform is used by agencies and sales teams of all sizes and agencies when they need to warm up email.

I was asked to redesign the provided dashboard wireframe, which included the following tasks:

  • Identify the current dashboard’s strengths and weaknesses.

  • Rethink current features on the dashboard and explained the changes made.

  • Present a functional and visually appealing redesign in the form of at least one high fidelity wireframe.

  • How ?

    Modularity

  • Modular blocks: creating a block ecosystem featuring different styles, each associated with a typology of information

  • Modular compositions: building separate blocks that fit together perfectly
  • Design and aesthetics

  • Giving it a boost: keeping the simple and efficient look, while injecting a bit more liveliness and elegance.

  • Lemwarm color: Yellow and Beige to stay within the clean and minimal conventional standards

  • Giving up the overly illustrative side: using icons that are less round and making them less ubiquitous.

  • Radius: rounding the edges to maintain a light, dynamic, and graphic character.
  • Header upgrade

  • Search bar: a larger box that makes it easier to use / separate from other elements.

  • Adding the Upgrade mention in the form of highly identifiable links that allow the user to confirm their interest for a solution right from the start.

  • Accessing other products in the Lem range

  • Notifications

  • Profile: in the top right corner, a more conventional approach
  • Side navigation

  • Adding a "People" entry: in this entry, the user will find the people who have access to the dashboard, but also have the possibility to create groups of people / invite people, etc. This way, everything is centralised in one place.

  • Adding the ability to open and close the side navigation
  • Hero info

  • Welcoming message customised based on the user / score (personification)

  • Profiles and ability to select other profiles

  • Adding a 30-day period filter that can be modified. Different possible filtered views: 30 days / 2 months / 4 months / 6 months / 1 year.

  • Pausing lemwarm —> this element should remain clearly visible and stay in the upper part of the dashboard
  • Deliverability score (the heart of Lemwarm)

  • Highlighting the score

  • Adding indications of score variation / progress

  • Minimised gauge that frames and underlines both the score and the textual description

  • Simplification of the gauge, with a more low-key design

  • Adding a link for additional information in case there is any confusion about this score and the stakes attached to this element.
  • Detail report

  • Hierarchizing the information

  • Adding indications of score variation / progress

  • Improving readability with lots of white space
  • Support

  • Adding a chat: to get in touch directly with the support team
